"The world can make you think that love can be picked up at a garage sale or enveloped in a Hallmark card. But the kind of love that God created and demonstrated is a costly one because it involves sacrifice and presence. It's a love the operates more like a sign language than being spoken out right. It's more about presence than undertaking a project. It's a brand of love that doesn't just think about good things, or agree with them, or talk about them. What I learned reinforced the simple truth that continues to weave itself into the tapestry of every great story: Love does."
I'm so thankful for the Spencer family and all that the Lord is doing in their hearts to choose to love with a love that has no boundaries and that is ever fierce. Love is never easy and always messy. But through their story you see that there is grace and power readily and abundantly available to love in such ways.
"What if I sat right here and took you in without the fear and loved you whole without the flight....this challenging reality is better than fear or fantasy." Sara Groves
